Model specification

Inspect the specification.
Keep qualification separate.

This public framework explains the model’s scientific roles, reference context, attribution, and limitations. Proprietary coefficients and internal parameterization are not part of the public description. Model revisions must remain identifiable when interpreting historical results. This description does not establish regulatory authorization or clinical performance.

Architecture and contributor attribution

Adaptive BioAge integrates selected Cardiometabolic, Functional, and Behavioral information while retaining contributor attribution. A comparatively persistent cardiometabolic foundation is interpreted alongside more responsive physiological and behavioral inputs. The calculation follows specified scientific rules rather than continuously retraining itself on the user’s data.

Reference normalization permits differently scaled inputs to contribute within a common framework. Published evidence and model-specific design decisions inform relative contributions. Domain constraints limit the aggregate influence of variable inputs, with asymmetric handling of favorable and adverse contributions. These choices require independent evaluation and are not individual causal effects or clinical predictions.

Input eligibility depends on source, demographic, and temporal context. Missing or carried-forward observations remain distinguishable from new observations. A daily output does not establish that every contributing input was newly observed. Clinical KDM and Levine PhenoAge remain separate from Adaptive BioAge.

What still needs independent evidence

Independent evaluation should address calibration, reliability, temporal stability, missingness, reference-population fit, subgroup behavior, correlated inputs, reproducibility, and associations with independently defined outcomes. Published component evidence and deterministic software verification do not establish external clinical validity of the integrated model.
